I found this letter in mom's keep sakes. I have done little else since going through her papers. I am sending the letter and both sides of the the envelope. Get out the Kleenex. Notice the many dates as it made it's way back. For those young'ns that may read this, Walter was only 18 years old when he was killed in service to our country. It was the only time I ever saw my father cry. I was very young but I will never forget that day. Click on the letter to enlarge it.
