DeNiece sent me this: GRANDMA WAS A BRAVE PERSON TO STAY SWEET DURING HER LIFE, WE ALL LOVED HER... She died when I was 2 years old, but I think I would have loved her too. Her face seems so familiar to me. Did she know me? Sue

You would have loved her. She was so sweet and lovable. Even the day I locked her out of her house and wouldn't open it and she had to go all the way around and come in the front door. She had been out hanging clothes to dry and was tending me while my folks were gone, I don't remember her getting mad at me, she just hugged me and admonished me to not do that again.
I was about 5 at the time.
She used to tickle my face, while I laid on her lap and it would put me to sleep. I loved that feeling so much I did the same to my children when I had some, and do it to my grandkids now.
That is where my mom got that from, mom would tickle our face whenever we were sick. I do that to my kids now as well.
I agree with my cousin. You would have loved her. She was a sparkly person who was full of love. And,I too, tickle my kid's and grandkid's faces. Nice tradition.
