Dear Starich Cousins,
I thought that it would be great to start a Starich/Smolich Blog. David said that among the five surviving cousins that we must have a treasure of old photos to share and stories to tell. By posting them here we can enjoy the family spirit and save them for posterity. I have been going through my mother's keep sakes and finding many gems. I decided that it was time to put them in a place special for them. Many of our families have grown so big and diverse that the Starich/Smolich remembrances might get lost in the shuffle. So I hope that you agree and will join in and share. What can you share about this wedding day?

Does anyone know the date of their marriage and any details about where and how it was celebrated?

That is all I know. -Sue
They were married in the Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City.
Their witnesses were: Walter S. McCann, and Mary Rose. I know nothing about them, if they were friends, or just someone they grabbed. I have a copy of their Certificate of Marriage. Wish I had a scanner, I would send a copy. Maybe soon.
