Pat ask me to share a memory of Grandma Angela, and as I sit here thinking about her, I remember she always had an apron on. ( unless she was dressed up to go to town). She would carry the wood from the wood pile out back , in for the stove. And she would gather her eggs and carry them in her apron.
One memory I had of her, I may have already shared, but she would always tickle my arm, or my back when I would lay on her lap. I loved that so much, and found myself doing that to my children and also my grandchildren. Guess that has became a famly tradition.
She really loved babies, and would hold them and you would think she was squeezing them reallly hard, but she would be holding them oh so softly.
I always knew that she loved me, without reservation, and I always felt save when I was with her.

Thanks Claudia, I can just picture her in her apron. I love to hold babies too. If you want to make me happy, just put a baby in my arms. We also tickle our kids in our family. It could be that mom saw grandma do it and picked up on it. You're a good sport to accept the request and share a memory.
I wish I would have known her. She sounds like a great lady.
The tickling certainly is being passed on. Grandma DeNiece tickled all my children, and Jenny especially loved it!
